About Scope Attentions Features
 
SMC is the abbreviation of sheet molding compound. The full name is unsaturated polyester fiberglass reinforced compound.
It is made up of unsaturated resin (as adhesive), e-glass fiber (as reinforced material) and various fillings and additives.
Because it is endowed with favorable electrical property, great mechanical performance, heat resistance, anti corrosive, so it is used widely in industrial electric, transport, vehicle parts, architecture, etc.
1. vehicle use:
bumper, panel, step board, vehicle running board, engine cover, damming plate, baffle plate, seat for bus, etc.
2. railcar use:
seat, table-board, window frame, wainscot, signal box, etc.
3. electric and communication engineering
shell of electrical appliance, insulator, distributor caps, telephone casings, etc.
4. architecture use:
waterproof plate, bathtub, cover for toilet bowl, door, doorframe, wainscot, pump, valve, elbow, etc.
5. household use:
tool handle, salver, meal appliance, seat for dining-room and hospital, cable tray, helmet, gunstock, etc.
1. SMC is sealed with and aluminium membrane, 35-40kg per roll.
2. heavy pressure, heat and wetness in transportation should be avoided.
3. better store under the temperature of 25℃, best time for use is in three months.
4. color can be dyed according to requirements, OEM welcomed.
